Modern Slavery Statement

FWG Group consists of 3 trading companies;

1. FWG Sales Ltd that provides retailers with access to quality imported and UK sourced bedroom products.  

2. New Design is a headboard and bed base manufacturer offering a wide range of styles, sizes and fabrics. Selling wholesale and to retailers.

3. Millbrook Beds manufacturers mattresses, beds and furniture, selling to retailers, wholesalers, hotels and public sector bodies.

FWG Group believe slavery is fundamentally unacceptable within our business and supply chains and adherence to all aspects MDSA enforcement/best practices is an important element in our overall approach to business and human rights. In addition to our business, we also corroborate that all our suppliers comply with the act to instil confidence to customers.
FWG Group work with customers attending training webinars, off site training days and actively get involved in projects to review our business in term of risk.  

All potential employees are required at interview stage to provide passports and any required right to work documentation. This information is held on file for all employees. All staff are paid by bank transfer and no cash payment for wages are ever provided. The business does occasionally use temporary staff, who are provided by agencies whose procedures have been vetted by management.

FWG has several factories based in the UK the rest overseas in China, Malaysia, Taiwan, Turkey and Vietnam. In order to supply FWG, all factories have to undergo regular independent audits from both an ethical and technical perspective. In addition, all our factories are visited regularly by FWG staff.

No instances of modern slavery or human trafficking have been discovered over the last 12 months. Over the next 12 months, we will provide training and refresher training to all new and existing members of staff, continue to emphasise the obligations set out in the regulations to our suppliers and work with our customers to provide valuable resources and information to all members of staff and suppliers.
